Found Poetry is FUN!

For those of you not familiar with the concept of found poetry, it is simply “a type of poetry created by taking words, phrases, and sometimes whole passages from other sources and reframing them as poetry.” (Thank you, dictionary.com.) I have a lot of cool found poetry activities I use with my 8th grade English students, and I get a kick out of writing this type of poetry myself from time to time. Read more
