Found Poetry is FUN!

For those of you not famil­iar with the con­cept of found poetry, it is sim­ply “a type of poetry cre­ated by tak­ing words, phrases, and some­times whole pas­sages from other sources and refram­ing them as poetry.” (Thank you, dictionary.com.)  I have a lot of cool found poetry activ­i­ties I use with my 8th grade English stu­dents, and I get a kick out of writ­ing this type of poetry myself from time to time.
