Happy Birthday Joy! I hope you have a fantastic day today, and find yourself continually reminded of the wonderful impact you have on the lives of others : ) I am so excited to hear that you are pregnant! Becoming a mom is one of the most amazing experiences. I actually just saw a really cool play about childbirth, all about real women and their birth stories…one of the women had a mantra for while she was in labor, “my body rocks!” I just love this mindset that our bodies are amazing and designed to undergo this life-giving process. So happy for you Joy!

Wow, Joy, what a great moment. I just had a baby boy (Henry) in November. I’m part of your self-study Fierce Body Love group and this year has been an adventure. With pregnancy I kind of took a natural hiatus from the body-loathing. (I also found I couldn’t eat much because there was no room in my stomach — something I never thought I’d experience, ever.) Now that I have a little baby and I’m no longer working (at a job I didn’t love) my whole life is different AND I’m secretly more nervous about food again. I will be revisiting the lessons. Thanks to you and Simone for the incredible insights — I’ve never felt so helped and so understood. I wish you all the love in the world. It’s amazing how much my husband and I are in love with our little one! Happy Birthday, Joy!
