Happy Saturday, my lovely friends! This is just a quick reminder/request to send me a short video of your dancing feet. I've received a very small handful of AWESOME videos, but I don't yet have enough FOOTage to create the project I'm envisioning. I'm not above filming my own feet over and over in different shoes and different locations to make this thing happen, but it really would be so much cooler to have YOUR feet involved.
If you're being a perfectionist about this, then STOP it. Perfectionism leads to procrastination which leads to missing out on life. A week or so from now, when I post the finished product, you'll be so bummed that you didn't go for it. (I know. I'm laying it on thick.)
So, let me break this down into baby steps for you to make it simple:
1. Find a camera that records video. Any camera will do. Your digital camera or your phone might have this capability. Or what about the web cam on your computer?
2. Put on your favorite pair of shoes or socks. Quit stressing about whether or not they are "cool" or "interesting" enough.
3. Position the camera on your feet.
4. Play a song you love and dance with abandon for about 10 seconds.
5. Send the video to joytanksley@gmail.com.
Happy Saturday, everyone! Love you bunches! (And I'll still love you if you don't send me a video. Promise.)

Got the feet—-do the dance—-got no camera. Maybe one will appear! The spirit and the flesh are willing but the technology ain’t
Ha ha ha! I understand, Jean. I’ll send out magical thoughts that a camera might present itself to you in the next few days. You never know!
