In Nia, we play with the notion that every decision we make — EVERY SINGLE DECISION — either comes from a place of love or fear. Seems simple but think about some of the basic decisions you’ve already made today. When you chose what to wear, did you choose it because you love it? Or because you were afraid something else might not look good? or might get a stain on it? When you chose what to have for breakfast (or not to have breakfast), did you make that choice because you LOVE to eat it or because you were afraid something else might make you fat? I find it to be a fascinated practice to really look at my decisions and see what the root is…the external result may be the same, but the sensation of choosing from love is energizing and JOYfull!
This is exactly why Nia came into my life at the PERFECT time! About a year ago (about the same time I started Nia) I started trying to make all my decisions based on love rather than fear. Whew! It has changed my life in the most amazing ways. Big ways. Small ways. ALL ways.
And I can’t get over your picture. It makes me so happy every time I see it.
